This software was the result of a major collaboration. Some of the components were obtained online from Colorado State University, while some seed code for the Viola and Jones recognizer was kindly provided by Peter Carbonetto from UBC. The concept, architecture and fleshtoning, image segmentation and AdaBoost algorithm implementations were done by Binu Mathew. The rest of the components were developed by Robert Evans, Justin Ellis and Robert Smith with Rob Evans being the main developer. The application is analyzed in the paper:
A Characterization of Visual Feature Recognition, BINU K.

Bear in mind that this just an initial release. Currently, it is being re-written by Binu Mathew to be extensible in Python. Expect a new scriptable release shortly. Expect gesture recognition extensions in the near future. Build instructions may be found here.
